This movie appeared grand more laughable from previews, but seeing it in theaters unbiased did not live up to the hype. As I mentioned in my title it is mostly Jack Dusky, acting as Jack Dismal (Loud, Weird, Tiresome) and Michael Cera acting as his characters usually would (Awkward, worried, unexcited) but in a biblical setting.

The movie begins in a miniature village with Sunless and Cera as friends. Dim is a hunter and Cera is a gatherer. After eating from the tree of knowledge, Murky is excommunicated from the village and Cera decides to follow, while the other members of the village are taken prisoner including Cera’s appreciate interest.

The record continues leading the characters to several biblical events that are quite piquant such as meeting Abraham, Cain and Able, Sodom, and many other events. Shadowy and Cera continue on their quest finally liberating the village from their enslavement and recall and Cera becomes a more confident individual and gains the attention of his like interest.

Overall the action is predictable and some of the moments in the movie miss their sign but with a few one liners and some spirited biblical references this movie is heavenly ample once or twice.

Had distinguished potential but they fair had to mess it up somehow. Few jokes are actually comical other then that never lives up to any potential. Got this cheesy B rated feeling do not extinguish your time better movies are out then this thing. Fair when it gets excellent and you believe the movie starts to capture off it hits bottom again and again. Unrated version is unbiased extra outrageous that is all.
