Best Yet
I was not necessarily a big fan of Manafest, but this album is not like the previous albums. There are remnants of some earlier songs, but overall the album is a new sound for Manafest. I was pleasantly surprised to the change. Avalanche was one of my favorites on this album.

Very nicely presented gift state 0f 5 DVD’s in a wintry looking tin. A true thrill for all you location junkies out there, and I am one too!! Well organized discs, lots of menu options, and I like the shrimp question at the slay of each disc, to look if you’ve been paying attention!! Overall well worth the microscopic $, even if you are ultimately very familiar with the subject matter and film clips. Have not seen the Ultimate NASA DVD’s yet, but they have an extra couple of hours viewing, and we residence junkies can always consume more!

If you are considering the fourth season of King of the Hill for your DVD collection you are probably already a fan of the note. The fourth season has some of my approved moments from KOTH. Cotton’s panic as he finds out that his newborn son is leaking milk, Connie having her period while staying with the Hills, Hank’s thanksgiving turkey being destroyed by a bomb squaud at the airport, Peggy’s feet being featured on a foot fetish website, Bobby seeing his female cousin naked for the first time, and the whodunnit slay of a very minor character voiced by Reese Witherspoon. These episodes are immense without seek information from but what is up with the special features department? The first two seasons had it all, comentaries, animatics, deleted scences, easter eggs, the whole shebang. But when I purchased the third season it was as if they place the release together the night before it came out. There were absolutley no special features, nada, zilch, zip. The discs were the double sided kind, and the artwork on the packaging sucked. It took only a few months between the first and second releases and we got two awesome sets, but it took another year before the third season was released and we got stiffed titanic time. But now it is time for season four to be released and I’m getting timid that it will be a expose of the rush-job we got for season three. I already know it is going to be 3 double-sided discs and it is coming out only 4 months after the previous release. I unbiased hope Fox doesn’t do this half-assed. I would be willing to wait a few extra months to pick up this DVD if it would mean getting it done just.

As with anything that gets better with time, King of The Hill is possibly one of the best adult captivating series out there. Surrounded by fellow alley-way bumpkins, Hank Hill’s life is far from the everyday, ordinary, Texas American. With Dale’s nuerotic antics, Bill’s lovable yet pathetic slothness, Playa’ pimp Boomhauer, know it all-know nothing wife Peggy, burst out into song, initiate minded son Bobby, this is a cast of characters which one doesn’t outshine the other. Truely a hilarious series and one worth collecting.

John Ford’s 1941 film How Green Was My Valley tells the narrative of a Welsh mining family, the Morgans, through the eyes of the youngest member of the family, ten-year primitive Huw (Roddy McDowell) . Mr. & Mrs. Morgan (Donald Crisp & Sara Allgood) have seven children and struggle to preserve their family afloat. Mr. Morgan is a miner, but he refuses to join a newly formed union and join in on their strike. This creates tensions within the family and violence erupts. Through it all the family survives, but their hometown and culture initiate to decline. Mr. Ford poignantly portrays the fading of childhood innocence and the superior side and down side of life in a exiguous town. The film is detached relevant today as Mr. Ford shows how technology dehumanizes society as machinery that is more efficient and cost-effective starts to replace many of the mine’s best workers and renders them unneeded and forces them into unemployment. The film beat out what is considered the greatest movie of time, Citizen Kane, to score the 1941 Academy Award for Best Represent and Mr. Ford beat Orson Welles to catch his second consecutive Best Director Award (and the third of his total of four) . The film won three other Oscars including Best Supporting Actor for Mr. Crisp. The film was to be shot in color on site in Wales, but due to the escalation of World War II, filming was moved to California and shot in dark & white to attend acquire the dreariness of South Wales. This worked out brilliantly as the lack of color helps make more a bleaker mood and Arthur C. Miller was rewarded with an Oscar for Best Cinematography.
This movie is impeccably crafted, written, performed, and directed. It’s impossible not to be drawn in emotionally. Both HOW GREEN and Ford’s pervious film, THE GRAPES OF WRATH, are realistic depictions of the effects of severe economic and social conditions upon a family. But while GRAPES centers more on the social conditions, VALLEY focuses primarily on the family itself. Indeed, it mourns the loss of family unity. The legendary Irish-American Ford was known for his gruff, crusty exterior, but pictures like this one note his sentimentality and his notion in the basic values of human life.
HOW GREEN WAS MY VALLEY is about a tremendous, close-knit family, the Morgans, in a dinky Welsh mining town. The family is headed by a firm father and a gentle, wise mother, and comprises six sons and one daughter. The five grown sons are, like their father, coal miners, and it is their hope that the sixth son, sensitive and knowing Huw (Roddy McDowall), will become a scholar. It is through Huw’s eyes that the chronicle is told. He looks assist as an older man and reflects on his family, his valley, and its people.
He grows up in a time of change, watching in confusion as a obtain map of life is altered for the worse by mine owners who overwork the mines and alienate the miners, leading his brothers to call for unionism, a opinion which his father abhors. This is the central decision from which the other threads of this compelling account evolve, and the film is ultimately a beautifully challenging drama, one of the best films about family ever made.

A fresh new sound that is captivating.
To best describe the sound of Owl City, I think it’s almost a mashup of The Postal Service & hellogoodbye musically, and the voice of Sufjan Stevens maybe?
No matter how you categorize it, the music is catchy, light, and will immediately make you want to tap your foot and sing along.
Simply Incredible
I decided to check out this album upon the recommendation of a friend a few months ago, and I don’t think I have ever been more pleased with a recommendation before. This is my absolute favorite album in the new sub-genre I like to call Indietronica. It is a perfect blend of everything I love about the Indie and Electronic genres.
Upbeat and deeply melodic, this album has everything I desire in an album. I cannot praise it enough. You will just have to check it out yourself.
Sweet - Hypnotic - Enjoyable
I find it hard to describe this one man band. Kind of like a positive Postal Service sound. The mixing is flawless, the lyrics somehow soothe my mind and the music seems to touch my heart. I feel happy listening. All this from a guy from Owatonna, Minnesota!

great movie to spy, I’m giving 5 stars because is an awesome christmas to seek, humorous and vast performance if you are looking for a family movie grab this one you wont regret,I watched it with my family and friends and we did like it awesome!!
the only thing that I did not like is that the DVD does not have any subtitles, extras or languages available that is all, I would give 4 stars but since the movie aint got nothing to do w/the video tag I did not, it is a 5 stars for me.

I impartial picked up this movie from Amazon on Blu Ray as this is truly a movie I can gaze over and over again. Specifically I like watching this movie every year during the Holiday’s. The movie is truly a romantic comedy that will pull at your heart strings in one scene and then have you laughing hysterically in another scene. The movie follows multiple couples throughout London during the Christmas season as they all are looking for appreciate. Martine McCutcheon and Keira Knightkey are down moral exquisite and comical in their respective scenes. Allen Rickman is ample as always as the boss of a microscopic company. The stories of all of the couples are intertwined nicely. If for some reason you haven’t seen this movie yet you need to select it immediately as it will be a movie you will consistently recognize year after year. This movie is a must glimpse during the Christmas season along with my other perennial popular National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.

There is no contrivance I can consume a best scene from this movie but between the opening shot of the Heathrow Airport Visitors, to the restaurant in Portugal, to the “Carolers” who visit Keira Knightley this movie will always be immense.

You’ll come by a strong feeling of déjà vu when watching this movie. Not only are the underwater locations familiar, especially the reef, the ocean unusual and the shipwreck, but the characters also, like the shark, the turtle, the jellyfish, the limited, the pelican, the starfish and the “henchmen”. There’s even a bit of “The Karate Kid” in there when a wise primitive ninja turtle helps out the underdogfish.
You’ll also regain that the majority of the scenes have been done before in other movies, and better. Taken on its possess it’s an average kids’ movie, but the “borrowing” is so blatant that it’s impossible to classify it as an current movie.
You’ve seen most of this before in Finding Nemo, The Itsy-bitsy Mermaid and Shark Account, so no need to ruin money on this one. Let the kids secure it on cable if they want to.

This is a very poorly done movie. It is a poorly disguised copy of Finding Nemo, and is one of those political “The Humans are so Dreadful and are Destroying the Earth” movies trying to falsely exhibit how dreadful the human urge is, and that all we do is end. This was a dreadful movie that we shut off after about 30 minutes. Prefer Finding Nemo and skip this B-rated (or C-rated) knock-off. This was a complete slay of money.

Healthily into its third season, it’s only now that BEN 10’s freshman year is finally coming out in dvd in all its thirteen episode glory. Debuting in December 27, 2005 on the Cartoon Network, BEN 10 was an immediate hit with the fans as the display, boasting a very frosty view, proved to be fun and eminently watchable. Plus, that theme song rocks.

The premise: Ordinary 10 year stale Ben Tennyson comes upon a mysterious alien artifact (resembling a wristwatch) which grants him temporary access to the forms of ten alien species, each of whom is inherently imbued with its absorb superhuman ability. In the constant company of his wise and benign grandfather Max (who hints of an enigmatic past, proving that being a “plumber” is more entertaining than one would contemplate) and his clever, sassy cousin Gwen (who he initially dislikes), Ben, early on, learns his lessons as he heroically attempts to abide by the famed Spidey quote: “With astronomical power comes gigantic responsibility.” But his attempts to live up to that credo are at constant odds with his more carefree and playful pre-adolescent tendencies. Accordingly, he strives to exercise his new-found shipshape powers to nab villains, all the while keeping at bay the maurauding alien, octopus-faced Vilgax, who will discontinuance at nothing to maintain the Omnitrix. But, as civic minded as he has become, that doesn’t mean that young Ben can’t have any fun…
The hook, of course, is that this young, normal kid all of a sudden gains and gets to play with the powers of ten formidable alien beings. Piece of the fun is in witnessing Ben observe all the diverse forms (some of which are curious and kinda cross, and one, Ghostfreak, even really unnerving) he comes to inhabit and his varying reactions to ‘em. These ten beings are rendered as visually striking and sparkling, my two personal favorites being Heatblast and Upgrade. And, oh, yeah, for those who were wondering, these ten aliens whose shapes and abilities Ben can borrow, in no particular order, are: Upgrade (a biomechanical being who can integrate itself into any machine and instantly improve upon or “upgrade” it), Four Arms (a bruising, 12-foot-tall, four-armed alien with awesome strength), Heatblast (an incendiary individual whose rush dwells on a sun), Diamondhead (the reach invulnerable, crystalline being), XLR8 (proper of gargantuan desirable urge), Ripjaws (the aquatic alien), Grey Matter (the miniscule alien, standing at 5″ grand), Ghostfreak (creepy and spectre-like), Stinkfly (a winged insectoid alien), and Wildmutt (a quilled, bestial creature) .

And, now, for the self-righteous, holier-than-thou piece of the review: this exhibit is perfectly catered for our impressionable young ‘uns. With the expected, patented family values, as well as the mainstay credo of trying to do the legal thing, being wholesomely espoused throughout the episodes (and in a non-sanctimonious procedure), kids should win themselves entertained as they are simultaneously taught the classic, goody-two-shoes virtues. The interactions among Ben, Grandpa Max, and Gwen are nicely portrayed as his supportive gramps and his more former cousin strive to sustain the impulsive Ben on the estimable path (because Ben does lose it and act out every now and then) .
Its cartoony animation is well worthy to BEN 10, meshing with the show’s sensibilities. This series is meant to be light, innocent, and fun-filled, in spite of all the heavy sci-fi action, and these qualities are perfectly conveyed by the dapper lines and caricatured survey. Young kids certainly wouldn’t mind, and Ben’s otherworldly personas are depicted in a nifty and energetic enough manner. The discover and style of BEN 10, actually, leans towards the anime style and recalls TEEN TITANS to mind. I kinda like it.
Now, the minuses. Other than the very alluring hook of being ten different superheroes, there’s really nothing current about this series. One improvement I can mediate of is that this explain would be better served with more cohesion and more episodic continuity. Multi-part episodes would be very welcome. As it is honest now, the formulaic residence has the Tennyson family travelling to some destination, only to encounter the supervillain flavor-of-the-week (although several of these baddies are sicced on by the series’s main villain, Vilgax) . Don’t regain me detestable, there is some character development and these are fine wintry stand alone episodes, but BEN 10 seemingly lacks that positive focus; and the show’s narrative arc and spot progression are developing too slowly for my taste. But, hey, that doesn’t mean I’m gonna end watching this series. When you accumulate to the nitty-gritty, BEN 10 is objective too remarkable fun to miss out. Not to mention, Seasons 2 and 3 do offer up several astronomical episodes (”Gwen 10″ and “Ben 10,000,” to name but two) .
By the intention, from what I’ve read on Wikipedia, the Special Features will include several episode commentaries, interviews with the showmakers, a creator drawing lesson, and a collectible poster.

Here we go with the episodes:
“And Then There Were Ten” (episode one) - On a summer cross-country traipse via motorhome with his Grandpa Max and his disliked cousin Gwen, Ben Tennyson ends up with the grand Omnitrix. But, intergalactic conqueror Vilgax is intent on gaining possession of the Omnitrix and sends his robots to fetch it.
“Washington B.C.” (episode two) - Ben goes up against Dr. Animo, a loony but luminous scientist who created the Transmodulator, an invention which enlarges and distorts normal animals into sizable, hazardous beasts.
“The Krakken” (episode three) - While camping out and taking a swim in a lake, Ben bumps into a sea monster.
“Permanent Retirement” (episode four) - In a homage to (or a blatant rip off of) INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS, Ben, Max, and Gwen visit Aunt Vera’s dinky town and gawk that the residents are exhibiting very uncommon behavior.
“Hunted” (episode five) - Vilgax sends three alien bounty hunters (Kraab, SixSix, and Hoverboard) after Ben’s Omnitrix.
“Tourist Trap” (episode six) - Feeling let down and bitterly bored with the tourist town of Sparksville and its main attraction of a giant ball of rubber bands, Max decides to play a prank but, instead, unleashes an electrical being called the Megawhatt.
“Kevin 11″ (episode seven) - Ben meets and hangs out with the psychotic, 11-year-old Kevin, who has the power to enjoy energy. When Kevin learns of Ben’s Omnitrix powers, he begins to believe those.
“The Alliance” (episode eight) - Ben goes up against an ornery female armored car robber who had been converted into a destructive alien cyborg named Rojo.
“Last Laugh” (episode nine) - We come by out that Ben is troubled of clowns, which sucks for him because the main baddie in this episode is an outrageous, parasitic clown named Zombozo.
“Lucky Girl” (episode ten) - When Ben beats the ghastly magician Hex, he takes from him a magical charm as a souvenir and offers it to Gwen. Gwen discovers that the charm has the power of unbelievable luck and becomes a superhero herself, called Lucky Girl. But, there’s no such thing as a free lunch, and a prize must be paid for all of Gwen’s fortuitousness…
“A Diminutive Predicament” (episode eleven) - When there appears to be a glitch with the Omnitrix, Ben pounds the plot in an attempt to activate it and ends up trapped in the effect of the 5″ gargantuan Grey Matter. An alien-obssessed man named Howell Wayneright captures him and presents him to the Organization, a clandestine group aiming to find alien technology for its gain purposes.
“Side Effects” (episode twelve) - When Ben catches a frosty, it has the side execute of weakening his remarkable alter-egos; it’s poor timing as he has to face off against an insect-controlling madman, who threatens the city with nuclear devastation.
“Secrets” (episode thirteen) - It’s the head alien, Vilgax himself, versus Ben 10. Plus, we net a first peep at the underground facility beneath Mount Rushmore, which is the HQ of Grandpa Max’s dilapidated covert and X-Files-like goverment organization.
My son (who is almost 9) really loves this display. The animation and site lines remind me (a small bit) of the Scooby-Do series that I watched as a kid. The twist here is that the hero in this series can transform himself into 10 different creatures with different types of powers. I reflect this is a stunning wintry demonstrate, and I like the character of Ben.
